Concrete Leveling Companies in Cleveland, Ohio
Updated: Jul 28, 2021
You’ve tripped over a sunken concrete sidewalk or walked around “that step” for at least a year or two, and you’re finally ready to do something about it. But where do you go for a solution? To start, many of our customers have never heard of concrete leveling and if they have, they are not familiar with where to go to for help.
How Do You Fix Your Unlevel Concrete?
There are a couple different paths. You may get a price for new concrete if you are considering replacing your concrete. Or, you may reach out to a friend or neighbor to see if they had a similar situation come up and ask how they fixed it. Mostly likely, you may search Google, You Tube or Pinterest for hours trying to find a DYI option. Ironically, due to the expensive cost of replacement or complicated and/or unprofessional DYI options, all of these roads eventually lead to seeking out a concrete leveling company/contractor.
Finding a trusted concrete contractor can be hard and confusing, not to mention there are different processes, as well as, products available. How do you find the one that makes the most sense for you?
How to Find a Concrete Lifting Company
In today’s age, the internet, more specifically, Google has become the “yellow pages” of the 21st century. By doing a quick search of a few key words, you can access a list of what you

may think are the top concrete leveling companies near you. While it is fair to say that these may rank in the top group due to size of the market, or whatever specific keywords match those listed on their websites, it doesn’t necessarily mean those companies listed are the top locally-rated. The first few companies listed are paid ads, meaning they pay a fee to have their company rank first based on the key words that you searched. This is not a bad thing, it just doesn’t necessarily equate to being the best option for you. So, what should you do? Keep scrolling past these paid ads and look at those listed further down the page. Conduct some research on the companies by checking out their individual website, their customer reviews and pictures of their work.
Third Party Websites
Another option to consider is utilizing a third-party website to help narrow down your search.

Contractors pay to be a member of organizations such as such as Angi’s List, HomeAdvisor or Thumbtack so customers can access their company’s information. Same rule of thumb applies here, do homework on these contractors because although they are often screened, they must also pay a fee to be listed on these reference sites. On these websites they often have a review section where you can get feedback from their customers and view pictures of their work. Again, be sure to check out the company’s individual website for more information.
Although, not as easily accessible, you could also try your luck at local home shows or home magazines that feature local contractors for home improvement projects. A good time of year to partake in home shows or magazines is right before a contractors’ busy season sometime between February and April, although you could find one in early summer months as well.

JAG Lifting Solutions
So what does JAG Lifting Solutions offer? To put it simply, we lift unlevel concrete with polyurethane foam. Why do we use polyurethane foam to lift concrete? Because we feel that it is the best solution for the job. It is a light weight, costs-effective product that will stand the test of time, plus it’s a simple application that allows the homeowner to access their concrete immediately after we are finished.
We help with most of the same services you read about above but are also open to new challenges. And, if we can’t help with a particular project, we will direct you to someone that can. Overall, we strive to provide simple, affordable and custom solutions to our customers’ concrete leveling projects.
Our warranty is simple and comparable to industry standards. If your concrete is over 10 years old when we level it, and if sinks more than ¼” over the next 10 years, we will re-lift it. If your concrete is less than 10 years old at the time of our services, the warranty time period is 2 years for a re-lift.
